Chodící lidé campaign 2011-2013 with focus on teaser campaign elements

Bachelor thesis Chodící lidé campaign 2011− 2013 with focus on teaser campaign elements analyses the communication of the two first phases of this campaign. The first theoretical part deals with the specifics of a teaser campaign. Furthermore it follows-up theoretical issues of the disabled people, naming issue, stereotyping and particular stereotypes towards handicapped. Next part is devoted to the first and the second phase of the campaign Chodící lidé itself, contracting authority, project funding, target group, timing and specific communication activities and its goals. The last part of the thesis is quantitative research which evaluates familiarity with the campaign and changes in attitudes towards disabled people through the analysis of data from post-tests for each phase of the campaign. The conclusion contains possible recommendation for the future based on the research and my studies of marketing communication.
Czech film trailer and its role in the film promotion in years 2006-2011

The diploma thesis Contemporary Czech film trailer and its role in the promotion of the film in the context of foreign production deals with the film trailer. The first part deals with the development of the film trailer abroad, particularly in the United States of America. It describes every single time period up to the present day and outlines the future trends in its development. The second part comprehensively analyzes all components of cinematic trailer. It describes the process of making movie trailers, classifies it in the film marketing communication mix and examines its role in the film promotion. It refers to manipulative function of trailer and deals with its control. Finally, describes the process of distribution trailer and shows the various distribution channels. All of these issues compare the situation in the U.S. and the Czech Republic. The final section focuses on the Czech film trailer. First, it maps its history from the beginning to the present. Then it puts these findings into the context of the Czech film history and the history of the Czech movie promotion. Further thesis will focus on the current situation in the Czech trailer. Trailer-targeting a potential audience

How can movie production companies speak to their potential audience thru movie trailers? Which means do they use and what is the public reception? How does a viewer interpret a movie trailer? What can we learn about viewers from movie trailers? This thesis is offering all the answers to questions mentioned above in two different parts - in the first part the concepts of movie trailers are introduced and explained, the second part analyses the outcomes of a research which studies the affects of movie trailers on potential audience. Collected data through quantitative methods of two uniform groups on the topic of movie trailers were studied by focus groups. This thesis focuses on understanding the approach of viewers on movie trailers and is trying to clarify when the movie trailers can act as a decision maker in order to change the approach and behavior of the audience. Thesis aims to offer a broader overview to the relationship between movie trailers and viewers and propose a guide how to read audiovisual works critically. The intention is to uncover that the scheme between text and context is characterized by complex processes of mediation and interpretation on the level of production, propagation and reception.
